Over 15 years ago – to ensure the longevity of FEGIME’s family businesses – our Next Gen organisation – FEGIME Future – was founded. Its purpose is not only to network its members with their international peers and partner suppliers but also to provide them with the necessary skills to take on both new responsibilities in their own businesses and new rolls in our constantly changing market.
Coming from almost 20 different countries, the group’s members are the children of FEGIME’s stakeholders and aged between 18 and 40 years old. Their backgrounds are very different, some having a very practical training programme in their own businesses and others university degrees in unrelated subjects – just to name the most diverse examples.
They meet twice a year with FEGIME partner suppliers and once a year for the FEGIME Advanced Management Programme (or FAMP – a tailor-made week of MBA-level tuition with top Business Schools to prepare the next generation of FEGIME wholesalers for the tasks they will face in future).
