Key initiatives include installing a 62.5 kW photovoltaic system (covering over 100% of annual consumption), switching to a high-efficiency climate control system, and implementing smart logistics to minimize transport emissions.
The company also reduced paper and packaging waste, introduced water dispensers and compostable coffee pods, and transitioned to reusable plastic containers for branch deliveries. By repurposing supplier boxes for customer shipments, Aprile achieves near-zero cardboard waste.
