Finnparttia Oy is actively reducing its environmental impact through a comprehensive sustainability program focused on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and waste reduction. A major highlight is the installation of solar panels, which now cover nearly all of the company’s electricity needs outside of winter months—greatly reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
Complementary measures include a full transition to electric company vehicles and forklifts, motion-sensor LED lighting in all operational areas, enhanced insulation, and a company-wide recycling program. These initiatives have significantly improved energy performance and minimized waste generation.
Looking ahead, Finnparttia will launch a beehive project in summer 2025 to support local biodiversity and strengthen its positive environmental handprint—demonstrating a thoughtful balance between carbon reduction and ecosystem stewardship.
