From 15 to 17 of April FEGIME Future our the next-generation group of entrepreneurs and leaders within the network, gathered in Rome, Italy, for a special meeting hosted together with ABB, one of our Strategic Partner Suppliers.

The meeting held a particular significance, as participants returned to Santa Palomba, the location where the very first international FEGIME Future meeting took place back in 2008, highlighting once again the long-term vision and continuity commitment that we share with our suppliers.

During the visit participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen international relationships and explore key topics shaping the future of the electrical wholesale industry. Discussions focused on innovation, sustainability, digitalisation and solutions designed to support electrical distributors in an evolving market environment.

The programme also included factory visits and business sessions that provided valuable insights into ABB’s operations and technological developments, reinforcing the importance of close collaboration between distributors and supplier partners.

A special highlight of the event was the visit to Borghini SpA, a member of FEGIME Italia, where participants gained a closer understanding of the company’s history, visited its warehouse facilities and learned more about its logistics and operational processes. The visit offered a valuable opportunity to exchange best practices and strengthen connections within the international FEGIME family.

Meetings such as these continue to play an important role in preparing the next generation of FEGIME entrepreneurs by encouraging knowledge sharing, international collaboration and long-term thinking across the network.
