Electro Rayd has been running a meaningful social inclusion program for over 20 years, offering internships in electricity and related fields to students from Escola Secundária do Cerco, located in one of Porto’s most socially vulnerable neighborhoods. Each year, 3–4 students from grades 9 to 12 gain hands-on experience through two-month internships at the company.
This initiative goes beyond corporate social responsibility—it creates real opportunities. Several interns have been hired as full-time employees, including one who has remained at the company since 2008. Through this long-standing collaboration, Electro Rayd actively supports education, job readiness, and the empowerment of local youth.
By combining technical training with genuine commitment, Electro Rayd helps bridge the gap between school and the job market, contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable society.
