In collaboration with Pitești City Hall and SELCA S.A., Electroglobal implemented a sustainable street lighting system for the city’s bicycle lane. The project uses Signify lighting units powered by integrated solar panels and lithium batteries in a hybrid configuration—reducing energy consumption and environmental impact.
The high-efficiency LED lights operate fully on solar power for 5 hours and continue at reduced power for 7 more, ensuring consistent illumination while saving energy. This initiative enhances urban safety and usability, while setting a benchmark in renewable public infrastructure.
