As part of the “Mittelstand & Moor” (Family Businesses & Moor) initiative, FEGIME Germany is sponsoring 10 hectares of moorland in the Jüterbog wilderness over five years. This climate sponsorship promotes the rewilding of vital ecosystems that play a major role in carbon storage, water regulation, and biodiversity.
Moors capture twice as much CO₂ as forests and are key to stabilizing the landscape’s water balance and microclimate. Through renaturalisation measures like ditch closure and rewetting, FEGIME Germany is maximizing its environmental handprint and actively contributing to long-term climate protection.
